Rapid-res: Venue Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to venues using the Rapid-res platform and technology. Rapid-res Ltd provides a service that enables customers to book tables, pre-order meals, and pay in advance, allowing a faster dining experience than traditional methods.

These terms are legally binding between you (the venue) and Rapid-res. By using the platform, you confirm that:
You agree to comply with these terms.
You will provide the agreed Rapid service to diners.
You have the authority to bind your business to this agreement.
Definitions
Rapid-res / We / Us / The Platform: Refers to Rapid-res Ltd and its services.
Venue / You: The hospitality business providing dining services via the Rapid-res platform.
Diners: Your customers using Rapid-res to book and order.
Rapid Guarantee: A commitment to diners for timely service.
Data: Includes venue, staff, and diner details including names, contact info, preferences, and orders.
Conditions of Use
2.1 Onboarding
Join our payment provider (Stripe) promptly to process online transactions.
Provide accurate menus, allergen details, descriptions, prices, and images.
Prices on Rapid-res must match or be lower than your standard menu.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you submit to the platform.
You must comply with all applicable laws, including licensing regulations (e.g. alcohol sales).
You will receive free equipment (PDA and kitchen printer). You are responsible for its care and must return it if you stop using Rapid-res. Replacement costs: £150 (PDA), £100 (printer).
2.2 General Usage
Use best efforts to accept 95% of all Rapid-res bookings.
Respond to 90% of booking notifications within 5 minutes.
Ensure staff are trained on Rapid-res and its operational procedures.
Maintain accurate menus and allow Rapid-res up to 24 hours to implement updates.
Rapid-res is not liable for customer complaints about your food, menu accuracy, allergens, or service.
You must use best efforts to honour the Rapid Guarantee.
Seat Rapid-res diners promptly in areas suitable for fast service.
Rapid-res Equipment
All devices remain the property of Rapid-res.
Do not allow third parties access to devices.
Store devices securely and shield any personal data.
Ensure devices are fully charged and online at all times.
Cooperate with updates, including changes to menus or service information.
Report any equipment damage within 24 hours.
Rapid Guarantee
You agree to honour the Rapid Guarantee and reimburse customers when appropriate.
You may dispute a claim by providing timestamped service data as evidence.
Payments
No upfront fee to join.
Commission: 15% + VAT on Rapid-res generated bookings; 5% + VAT for self-added bookings.
Commission is deducted at the point of payment.
Rapid-res monitors bookings to prevent avoidance of commission fees.
Intellectual Property
The platform software is the property of Rapid-res.
You receive no IP rights beyond what is necessary for usage.
The platform is protected under UK and international IP laws.
Termination
Rapid-res may terminate your access if you breach these terms.
On termination, you must fulfil existing bookings. We will provide access to customer details to assist with fulfilment.
Data Protection
Use of Data
You must comply with all data protection laws.
Use customer data solely to fulfil bookings.
Data access may be provided upon request to resolve complaints.
Obligations
Each party is an independent data controller.
Both parties are responsible for handling complaints and data subject requests.
Parties agree to assist each other with legal compliance related to data usage.
Public Statements
You must not make any public statement about Protected Data without Rapid-res’s prior written consent.
Liability
Rapid-res is not liable for lost revenue, missed opportunities, or indirect damages.
We do not exclude liability for death, injury due to negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You are solely responsible for allergen and dietary safety.
Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for non-performance due to events beyond their control.
